No CD Crack Age of Mythology German: How to Play Without a Disc

It mentions that the game doesn't work on Windows 10, because the system doesn't support SafeDisc protection. That's only partially true, because when you install a no cd crack, the game works flawlessly - I tested it myself.

I once edited the page so that it actually mentioned this, but then my revision was removed for unclear reasons. I thought cracking a legally owned game wasn't a crime, according to American law, if there was no other way to run it.

Couldn't PCGW just mention that a No CD crack is required to run AoM (and all other SafeDisc protected games) on W10, without linking to the cracks themselves? Of course a disclaimer could be added that it is legal according to American law and the players should check their country's regulations on that before they crack their games.

I wouldn't stake my life on it, but cracking something you own is ok, as long as you keep it for yourself. Even describing how to do it should be lawful, given it's just "an idea", like tips for marijuana seedling or suicide.

Generally, giving information regarding pirated and/or cracked versions of games is not allowed. Regardless of the progress made in copyright laws specific to software, it's still a legal grey area for the time being.

That being said, there is one exception to this rule (that I personally see): If a game suffers from a game-breaking bug/crash and there is absolutely no other confirmed fix for it that is reliable (and legal), a No-CD crack/patch can be mentioned (but not directly linked). You don't need to mention the legality of said fix.

Considering games with SafeDisc are fundamentally broken on Windows 10, mentioning the No-CD crack solution would be appropriate in those cases (assuming that no other legal solutions are already available).

Solution In Need Of A Problem. Acronym describing any pointlessly over-engineered gadget, system or service for which no real or meaningful demand exists: a sledgehammer to crack a nut, or a sales-centred approach to relationships. SINOAP represents push and persuade, rather than facilitate and enable; it reminds us of the importance of understanding and empathy. SINOAP is a also product or service designed from the supplier's perspective rather than from the customer's view. The acronym warns against inappropriate marketing or selling, where the proposition fits the supplier's or sales-person's needs (for profit, sales quota, commission, etc) but not the needs of the potential customer. However, several of the previous KQ games are meant to be stand alone, and have little to do with the previous games in the series (with only a few passing references to elements of the previous games), or re-imagined and reused elements (Crystal Dragons, Ice Queens, Unicorns, Wizards & Witches, etc). Mask of Eternity is similar to the previous games in that it builds on the Kingdom of Daventry as a starting point (or in KQ3 an ending point); with standard King's Quest themes such as Castle Daventry, Magic Mirror, & King Graham (and Valanice), and explores original lands outside Daventry (the pattern of the series as a whole). The story follows a lowly knight (much like young Sir Graham), who is set a quest to save the kingdom (ala Quest for the Crown). Along the way he encounters creatures of mythology, legend, and fairy tale. Thus Mask of Eternity returns to the roots of the series, but takes things in a more epic direction. Even portion of Daventry explored in the game is a new area, the town of Daventry, which had only previously been mentioned in the early manuals and books. Many of these details are pointed out in the more positive reviews. Roberta Williams compared the walking and exploration and keyboard controls to that used in the original King's Quest game, and its darker 'atmosphere' to King's Quest 3.

The Bitmap Brothers certainly knew how to make a cracking game, and Chaos Engine was one such example. With their usual flair for top-down mayhem, The Bitmap Brothers gave us this wonderful steampunk themed game, filled with tons of enemies, two-player action, loads of power-ups, and great sound effects with a cool sound track playing continuously in the background.

Most puzzles are clever jigsaw variants made possible only with today's technology. It's also got a creative grand plot: seven Tricksters have escaped from the legendary Pandora's box of Greek mythology, and it's up to you to travel to various cities to find and capture them before they wreck havoc in the world. Although most puzzles are simply jigsaw variations, the great graphics and educational value (learning about various world myths has never been more fun) will keep Pajitnov fans happy. 2ff7e9595c
